You distribute the transport orders among our partners and keep a close eye on everything. You are the first point of contact for our customers, answering their questions and helping them with advice on road transport. Together with your team of 3 colleagues, you supervise the drivers and ensure that everything runs smoothly. You work under the supervision of your Team Leader who will teach you all the ins and outs of the trade.
As a future Transport Planner at TransDirect you will be responsible for the following tasks: You distribute the transport orders among the subcontractors and follow them up. You are the first point of contact for clients and give them the necessary advice and guidance for road transport. Together with your 3 colleagues, you are responsible for the contact and guidance of your drivers. You work a 37-hour week between 8:30 and 17:00, but are able to show the necessary flexibility. You will be under the wing of your Team Leader who will teach you the tricks of the trade.
Under the wings of the current Accountant, you are responsible for general administration which includes the following: Transport administration, invoicing, debtor and creditor management, telephony and reception. You will learn everything by trial and progressively relieve the current Office Manager of her tasks, which will gradually be reduced.
For the job of Account Manager at TransDirect, you will be responsible for the following tasks: You are responsible for signing the current customer base and prospecting to expand it. You will send sales cycles, and follow these up from the first contact to the conclusion of the collaboration. You analyse the customers' wishes and try to find a good match with your potential services. You are familiar with the latest logistics developments and closely follow the latest trends within the logistics market.
