With his company Transdirect, Gilles Devriendt matches self-employed truck drivers with production companies in need of transport capacity. In just two years, the turnover multiplied by four, to 1.6 million euros. 'There is already a shortage of drivers, so every truck has to be optimally filled.'

In early 2021, 22-year-old Gilles Devriendt founded freight forwarding company TransDirect. A year later, he appears pleased to look back on his first year and announces steady ambitions for 2022.

Kortrijk-based freight forwarding company TransDirect takes on the transportation concerns of other companies. You let them know which cargo needs to be taken where, TransDirect takes care of the rest. "The fact that we relieve customers of their worries is our greatest asset," says manager Gilles Devriendt.
